My first “destination” wedding and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! The wedding took place at the gorgeous Waterford Manor in St.John's, Newfoundland in early July. The day was perfect in every aspect.
I was a bit nervous shipping the flowers and keeping them looking beautiful until the event but everything went smoothly and without a hitch. The bride requested green and purple as her main colours and left the flower choice up to me. The venue, being quite lovely in its own right, did not need much to make it shine.
The bride carried a bouquet of lime green cymbidium orchids, baby green hydrangea, creamy white Vendella roses, mini calla lilies and rolled leaves of spotted milky way aspidistra and varigated aspidistra. A round rhinestone buckle and ivory satin bound the stems.
Bridemaids bouquets were bold purple hydrangea, lavender avant garden roses, calla lilies in shades of plum, vibrant green cymbidium orchids, and varigated aspidistra leaves.
Additional arrangements of baby green hydrangea, blueberry hued iris, fragrant freesia, Avant garden roses, and green cymbidium orchids added touches of colour and did double duty for the ceremony and cocktail reception.
